Diet

Waroon, a very successful Thai guy with Chinese nationality had enjoyed eating a lot until his weight was as high as 84 kg and his blood pressure was at the level of 160/100 mmHg though he was eating 2 kinds of drugs to keep it under control. He had been questioning himself why he couldn't stop eating in spite of knowing that obesity is the gate to all diseases from high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, kidney failure to cancer.

" You know, doctor, my mom is 98." He told me with pride. " I have 2 mothers. The real one who is 98 is now living in China. When I was young, she was so poor that she got nothing to eat. So, she sold me to the Sae-bay family for 4 cans of rice and they raised me since then." This time he was talking bitterly. " I waited for the time when I am wealthy enough and went back to search for her. I found her finally. Now, every time I go to China, I would bring things for her and give her money."

" She must be very thin." I guess. " Skinny people eat very little, but that is why they have long lives. I think maybe it is your unpleasant childhood that makes your appetite never satisfied."

Fasting for health

Yes, Waroon gave himself a chance to loose his weight and reduce blood pressure by naturopathy. The most effective method was the "10 days detox" program which is the principle of fasting for health. During the time, you have to be faithful to yourself by not eating meats, fat, and carbohydrate, but satisfy your hunger with fruits and fresh vegetables. For the first two days, eat fruits only. Thai food for everyday life

Now, what kind of foods should you take beside the day of fast? This is also important. Some people had put a lot of effort to fast for their health. However, after they finished the program, their eating habits were back to normal and the result was of course weight gaining. On the other hand, the people who controlled themselves could retain their weight or even loose more.

I would suggest you to eat Thai food which is red-unpolished rice, vegetables, chilli sauce, fish and sea food, but only for breakfast and lunch. Don't eat dinner because when you eat and sleep it will make you fat. If you think you can't handle it, you are allowed to take light food such as a dish of fresh vegetables with curries or salad , but no rice.

Colon detoxification

Fat people usually eat a lot of meat, fat, and carbohydrates but hardly vegetables. As a result, their colons are full of waste food which cause the bacteria to be rotten and absorb the wastes, thus making the body weak. Moreover, high blood pressure and other diseases can occur as well. Colon cleansing for once can help you remove congestion and toxins in the colon. Then, you should do coffee enemas for once or twice a week as caffeine plays an important role in opening the bile ducts in order to discharge bile evenly. The process will also reduce cholesterol in the body as it is contained in the bile acid.

Dietary supplements

Fiber- The most effective one is Chitosan which is a polysaccharide found in the exoskeleton of crabs. Take 3-4 tablets of 250 mg each time with one glass of water before main meals. It will cause weight loss by binding fats in the stomach and preventing them from being digested and absorbed. However, 4 tablets of chitosan can only absorb one tablespoon of fat. Thus, if you take chitosan but eat fatty food for more than 4 tablets can handle, you will still get fat anyway. On the other hand, too much of chitosan intakes can cause constipation as it will accumulate in the colon. I have seen a man who had taken chitosan and couldn't excrete. He then had to take it out by enema. It was so painful that the tears rolled down his cheeks. So, drink a lot of water after you take it.

Another chitosan's benefit is that it has cholesterol lowering abilities as it absorbs the bile containing bile acids which is a surplus cholesterol and removes it through excrement.

Konjac fiber - It plays a vital role in creating a feeling of fullness that persists because the fiber in it swells and stomach contents stay in the stomach longer.Because of its beneficial effects, a number of foods are made from it such as konjac noodles and konjac jelly which can be used as an ingredient of many dishes. For people who can't skip dinner, you can eat konjac noodle instead, but be careful of the fatty soup as it will make you fat.

L-Carnitine - It is vitamin-like and essential for tissues that need a lot of movement because it helps the muscle cells to increase energy by burning fat. L-Carnitine is present in meats. The more red is the meat, the more L-Carnitine is contained. There is little amount of L-Carnitine in milk and egg but hardly any in fruits and cereals. Animals using a lot of energy have much of this substance in their muscles.

Normally, you will feel exhausted when you fast, but if you take L-Carnitine, it will help you to be able to stand fasting for a longer time and even burn fat to produce energy.

Exercise

Water aerobic - It allows you to exercise without the jarring and jolting experienced when training on land. Meaning there is virtually no impact or jarring on any of the body's joints, muscles, ligament, tendons or bones. In addition, high calorie consumption is another important feature of water aerobic.

Qiqong - It is easy to do and there is no impact on your knees. You can also use a lot of energy as when you practice it for half an hour, it will make you sweat.

Yoga - If you can do it continuously, it will help to balance the hormone in the body. Normally, fat people have high amount of anabolic hormone but very little of catabolic hormone. Yoga will create a balance between these two hormones, thus, increasing the process of burning. The very essence of yoga lies in attaining mental peace, improved concentration powers, a relaxed state of living and harmony in relationships. Lastly, yoga also provides you the beauty from within.

Subconscious program
For Waroon's case, this program helped him to forget his past about starvation and satisfy with what he eats at present. It also changed his eating habits as well.

After Waroon had undergone the detoxification for 10 days and other treatments, he lost 6.6 kg and his blood pressure was reduced to 140/80 mmHg while he was taking only one kind of drug for blood pressure.
