Enzyme Therapy
Enzyme is a group of
protein inhabits in both plants and animals. Its function is to
stimulate the chemical process in the body to work quicker. Enzyme
can be classified into 3 groups as following:
1.Metabolic Enzyme
These kind of enzymes inhabit in the organs' blood tissue, for
example, in a chemical cycle called the "Kreb's cycle" which is
a burning reaction. The Kreb's
cycle demands a lot of enzymes to stimulate the progress of chemical
cycle to produce energy for our cells. The cells in the body also
have another kind of enzymes which have the duty to decompose unwanted
toxin such as SOD enzyme which is a free radical.
2.Food Enzyme
These enzymes are in raw foods, animal cells and plant cells. They
are contained in the bags called lysosome. When these bags are broken,
the enzymes will break food into small pieces so that it can be
absorbed into the body easily.
3.Digestive Enzyme
These enzymes are found in the food tract system of human and animals
and produced by the mucous membrane of the stomach, the liver and
pancreas. Their function is to break down the food into small molecules
so that it can be digested easily.
Diseases caused by enzyme deficiency
Since 1986, the biochemical
researchers have concluded that there are more than 1,300 kinds
of enzyme related to our bodies and the lack of enzymes can cause
various diseases which can be divided into 5 groups as following:
1. Food tract diseases
Enzymes play important role in the process of digestion in food
tract from mouth, stomach to small intestine. Thus, enzyme deficiency
causes symptoms such as flatulency, indigestion, tight stomach,
constipation and constipation with diarrhea. At present, we all
have enzymes to help digest food and treat these symptoms such as
pancreas extract which the doctors and nurses usually give to their
patients to help digestion.
Here is the idea. We
should eat fresh vegetables, fruits, and fresh foods as they contain
enzymes. By this way, the pancreas can work less and all indigestion
symptoms will not occur. In contrast, if we eat cooked food everyday,
the enzymes are gone with the heat. Thus, our pancreases will have
to work harder to produce the enzymes for the digestion. Therefore,
people who eat cooked food take more risk of having indigestion
symptoms than those who usually eat fresh vegetables and fruits.
A research from North
Western University indicated that the amalayse enzyme in barley
seedling can digest starch in the stomach and small intestine. This
means if we take fresh vegetables and fresh fruits which already
contain enzymes in themselves, part of the food in the stomach such
as starch will be digested before they are sent to the small intestine
and digested by the enzymes from pancreas.
2. Immunity diseases
Part of the immunity consists of many kinds of white blood cells.
The primary function of white blood cells is to destroy invaders,
bacteria, virus, and foreign protein which causes allergy. The white
blood cells will eat these things up and use their enzymes such
as amalayse, lypase, proteinase, etc. to destroy them. If our bodies
lack enzymes, the white blood cells will not be able to damage the
foreign protein and cause the symptoms of allergy to occur. Moreover,
if the white blood cells eat the bacteria and virus without having
the enzymes to destroy germs, the immunity will weaken and the person
can easily get sick.
The idea is to eat fresh
foods so that their enzymes can digest foreign protein before it
gets into the body. This could reduce the symptoms of allergy. Therefore,
people with allergy or weak immunity should eat a lot of fresh vegetables
and fruits everyday.
3. Obesity Overweight
people usually lack lypase enzymes which cause fat to accumulate
on the skin. If we eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, fat will
not accumulate. Vegetables and fruits also help to prevent obesity
as they have low calories.
4. Blood vessels
diseases such as heart disease and paralysis This is the same
case as obesity. If the body lacks lypase enzymes, fat will accumulate
in blood vessels causing a heart disease and paralysis. It has been
found that anyone lacks of lypase has high risk of blood vessels
diseases and high blood pressure. On the contrary, people taking
fresh vegetables and fruits have low risk of having those diseases.
Deterioration and
chronic diseases as diabetes, peptic ulcer, inflamed liver,
inflamed gall-bladder, decayed bone, allergy, and chronic rash.

Enzyme Therapy
At present, there are
many kinds of enzyme supplement products suitable for those who
are having health problems such as SOD (free radicals) for deterioration
diseases, pancreas extract (enzymes) for digestion, extract from
fresh wheat seedling for health, and other natural enzyme extracts
such as papaya, pineapple, etc. made in tablet. For more information,
